ATV-bureau provides professional interpreting and translation services to individuals, businesses, law firms, government bodies and other organisations.

ATV-bureau processes personal data solely for accepting, carrying out and administering assignments, maintaining contact with clients, drawing up quotations and invoices, complying with legal obligations, improving its services and answering questions by email or via the website.

Depending on the assignment, the data processed may include name, address details, telephone number, email address, billing details and information from the documents submitted.

Special categories of personal data

Interpreting and translation services may involve sensitive or special categories of personal data, such as medical, legal or criminal data. ATV-bureau processes such data only to the extent necessary for the performance of the assignment and treats it strictly confidentially.

ATV-bureau does not provide personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the performance of the assignment, the client has given consent, or a legal obligation exists. ATV-bureau does not keep personal data longer than necessary. Administrative data is retained in accordance with the statutory tax retention obligation of seven years.
